Explore the infamous San Andreas Fault up-close-and-personal with the only eco-tour company that can take you to an exclusive, private 840-acre adventure ranch located right on the San Andreas Fault. We offer both wagon and Jeep eco-tours which are led by expert naturalist guides who will both entertain and share the desert’s secrets with you. Learn how earthquakes and tectonic forces created the slanted, vertical and wave-like structures that have been described as the most tortured landscape on earth and how the Indians, plants, and animals have uniquely adapted to survive in the desert up-close-and-personal.
Options include taking a nature walk or short hike, panning for gold at an old mining camp, exploring a Cahuilla Indian Village where you learn about the culture and lifestyle of the Cahuilla Indians, visiting our EpiCenter Earthquake Education Center where you learn about geology and earthquakes, or learning about early Coachella Valley settlers at the Pioneer Homestead.
